Sunrisers Hyderabad unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League

Former champions Sunrisers Hyderabad have unveiled a new jersey ahead of the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins on March 31. The new shirt of SRH is the same as last season.

The official Twitter handle of the SRH franchise shared a video to announce the launch of their IPL 2023 kit. Indian fast bowler Umran Malik, all-rounder Washington Sundar and newly signed batsman Mayank Agarwal can be seen in the outfits in the video.

The tweet read, “Presenting you, our new Orange Armor for IPL 2023.”

The post went viral garnering over 95k views in no time. SRH fans also expressed their love for the new outfit.

Here are some reactions.

“Oh wow! This is so cool,” commented a Twitter user.

A certain user expressed his love for the newly added black colour. “Black trousers,” he wrote with an orange heart emoji.

A social media user expressed a similar opinion and wrote, “Thank God Black is back! It looks great!”

One person commented, “Positive vibes everywhere”.

South African Aiden Markram will lead the franchise during the season.

Markram had recently guided Sunrisers Eastern Cape to the inaugural SA20 title.

Hyderabad bought Markram for Rs 2.6 crore in the IPL auction last December.

The Hyderabad-based franchise was led by New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson in IPL 2022. But they failed to qualify for the playoffs after ending the league stage campaign in eighth place.

He managed to score 12 points by playing 14 matches.

West Indies veteran batsman Brian Lara will take over the coaching responsibility.

In the auction, SRH spent Rs 13.25 crore to acquire the services of England’s Harry Brook. The 24-year-old English batsman emerged as their costliest buy.

The team will start their IPL 2023 campaign with a match against Rajasthan Royals. The competition will take place on April 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
