Jammu and Kashmir: A speeding cargo truck lost control and hit a CRPF bunker vehicle of 130 battalion at Awantipora in Pulwama at around 5:45 am on Wednesday.
The CRPF jawans were deployed for 24×7 check-point duties as part of their ROP (Road Opening Party) duties, which have been assigned to them by the Centre.
While the CRPF personnel were performing their duty, a speeding truck skidded, lost control and rammed into a CRPF bunker vehicle parked on the roadside.
Fortunately, despite the major mishap, the two CRPF jawans sitting in the bunker sustained minor injuries. Both were given first aid and their condition is stable.
A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which a speeding truck is seen losing control and skidding off the road as it was raining. The truck hit the CRPF bunker in which two jawans were injured.
