Shikhar Dhawan is enjoying scintillating form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. While the explosive batsman is making headlines for his heroics on the field, a video of Dhawan has reportedly been leaked online.
The clip, which has been shared by several users on Twitter, showed Dhawan talking about his “love at first sight”. After seeing the content, social media users were left scratching their heads, speculating whether the footage was real or made for a promotional campaign for a brand.

Dhawan enters a decorated drawing room and sits on a sofa facing the camera. He then offered the cookies to the interviewer, who was not visible in the video and seemed to be a close friend of the cricketer.
The anonymous person asked Shikhar Dhawan some questions about a girl the Indian opener had recently met. According to Dhawan, he met her during a party at a farmhouse. “When I saw him, I kept on watching. When I heard that, I kept listening,” the 37-year-old said with a smile.
Then Dhawan told how their love story progressed. At the end of the video, he gives advice for a golden relationship, saying, “Forget the old, it’s time to move on.”
Soon after the Twitter video surfaced on the internet, fans were quick to jump into the comments section. They started speculating the real reason behind making the video, while serious people were against getting into the personal life of the Indian cricketer.
One fan was quick to say, “It’s scripted.”
Another fan also speculated the clip to be part of a television commercial.
