It is a well known fact that superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan Not on the best of terms until recently, after an infamous collapse that happened years ago. As fans of both remember, both the stars used to avoid each other at parties and award functions. However, after their patch-up, they have become as fat as thieves.
Recently, a fan account shared an old video from the 2016 Star Screen Awards, in which the two Khans, who were co-hosting the show, jokingly shared the “real” reason behind their rift. It was a ‘very small matter’ as Shah Rukh said, to which Salman intervened that he was indirectly asking him (Salman) to marry him. As the camera once again looked at Shah Rukh, he elaborated that once he and Salman were discussing who was happier.
Shahrukh had said that he is happy as his wife is waiting for him. To this, Salman retorted saying that he is more than happy in this matter as he does not have his wife waiting at home.
Shah Rukh had then said that when he went home his beloved girl (referring to his daughter) came and sat on his lap, which brought him peace and lots of happiness. To this Slamon’s reply was that when he went home, a lot of ‘darlings’ would come and sit on his lap, which would give him even more happiness.
This is followed by the sound of laughter from the audience, as actors Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan start laughing at the camera.

In 2008, there was a rift between the two superstars at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party, after which a long cold war broke out between them. However, things cooled down between them almost a decade later, after which they also made guest appearances in each other’s films.
