Rinku Singh revealed that after hitting five consecutive sixes against Gujarat Titans, Shah Rukh Khan had promised that he would perform at the KKR youngster’s wedding.

“Sir (Shah Rukh Khan) called me after that. He was talking about my marriage. Shahrukh said that people call me for marriage, I do not go. Main teri shaadis mein aunga nachane (I will come to dance at your wedding),” Singh told JioCinema.

In the matches that followed, the Indian youngster continued to shine and scored 58*, 18, 6, 53* and 18* in the subsequent games for KKR, unfortunately, his side lost the last four after the win over Gujarat. There were matches but they finally won against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 21 runs on Wednesday.

For the unversed, Rinku Singh joined KKR in 2018 for Rs 80 lakh and has been with the two-time IPL champs ever since, becoming a key player in recent seasons.
The 25-year-old from Aligarh has scored 251 runs in eight innings this season at a strike rate of 158.86 and an average of 62.75.
