Mumbai and Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw is making full use of the off-season, spending some quality time with his alleged girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia. Shaw recently went to Dubai for the IIFA Awards to spend time with actress and model Nidhi Tapadia after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season ends.
On Monday, Shaw posted a hilarious Instagram reel with Nidhi Tapadia, in which the Mumbai batsman commented, “Nidhi Tapadia acting janna padega mere, ek (sic) bhi le achhe nahi diya tune,” Shaw captioned the reel. Mentioned in the caption.

Prithvi Shaw’s Instagram reel soon went viral. 25 year old actress Nidhi Tapadia became popular after the release of Punjabi song Jatta Koka (2019). He has also starred in Yaad Karke (2019) and Gippy Grewal ft Gurlez Akhtar: Son Di Dabbi (2020).
The actress started her career as a television actor in 2016. Nidhi has worked in the crime show CID. The actress has also done some modeling assignments and photoshoots.
Shaw had a forgettable time in the IPL 2023 season for DC, finishing 9th on the points table. The opener could only manage 106 runs in 8 matches in the T20 league this year with a top score of 54.
Much was expected from Shaw, who had a sensational run in Ranji Trophy cricket for Mumbai, scoring 595 runs in 10 innings – including a career-best 379 against Assam. Former India all-rounder Karsan Ghavri believes that Prithvi Shaw should learn from his former U-19 teammate Shubman Gill.
“He was in the same team that won the U-19 World Cup in 2018, wasn’t he? Where is Prithvi Shaw and where is Shubman Gill today? They are in two different categories,” Ghavri told The Indian Express newspaper.
“Shaw thinks he is a star and nobody can touch him. But he needs to understand that at the international level, whether you are playing T20, 50 overs or Test matches or even Ranji Trophy Ho, you only need one ball to get out.
