New Zealand have announced their team for the 2024 T20 World Cup which features the likes of Kane Williamson, Tim Southee, Trent Boult among others.
New Zealand Cricket have revealed their squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup and they made the announcement with a twist. Neither captain Kane Williamson nor the head coach Gary Stead who is also the chief selector made the announcement.
Instead, two ‘special guests’ read out the names who had made the cut for the New Zealand’s 15-man squad for the T20 showpiece.
In a cute video shared by New Zealand Cricket on their social media accounts, two kids named Matilda and Angus revealed the names of the 15 players who will represent their men’s cricket team at the marquee event.
