Shantala is a period film produced by Dr Irrinki Suresh of Indo-American Arts, and directed by Trivikram Seshu. The movie stars Ashlesha Thakur, acclaimed for her role in Amazon’s Family Man, in the lead role, alongside Nihal Kodhaty.
Recently, Cheli Mohame, a heartwarming song from Shantala, was unveiled by Nagarjuna, who wished the film’s team well. At the event, the cast and crew expressed their gratitude for Nagarjuna’s support and the positive response to the first song, Rise of Shantala, released by director Trivikram. The team thanked everyone for their support.
So far, the video has received over 8,834 views and is still counting more. One social media user commented, “Vishal Chandrashekar is a pure musician, his music is as soulful as A. R. Rahman’s music”. Another added, “Peacefulness is what I felt after listening to this beautiful video song”.

Ashlesha Thakur is best known for projects including Jawan, Badrinath ki Dulhania, Pagglait, and The Family Man. She made her Bollywood debut in the same year with Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai. In 2017, she also made her acting debut in the TV serial “Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki” on Colors TV.
Meanwhile, Nihal Kodhaty is best known for films including Butterfly, Salaam-E-Ishq, and The Story of a Beautiful Girl. The actor will also be seen in the upcoming untitled film directed by Ravi Prakash Bodapati. Some of his other notable projects include Panchatantra Kathalu, Evaru, and Jagadam to name a few.
