Watch: Mumbaikars Rescue Rs 1 Crore Jaguar XJ After Luxury Car Gets Stuck on Speed Breaker

The imported luxury saloons offer a bespoke and luxurious experience in terms of ride comfort and driving ethos. As they are designed keeping in mind the speed and agility required on high-speed road infrastructure of developed countries. On Indian roads, they perform very well, however, the major challenge they face is their low ground clearance. It is a common sight to see them scraping their stomachs at big speed breakers due to this issue. Recently, a Jaguar XJ Saloon got stuck at a huge speed breaker in Mumbai. As can be seen in the video, the limo comes to a halt at a long speed breaker.

The trick to crossing such bumps without much hassle is to try to angle them, but this becomes difficult given the traffic in metro cities of India. However, the driver did just that, causing one of the rear wheels to hang in the air. As a result, it could rotate freely. Nevertheless, a crowd gathered to give the car a little push so the wheel could gain traction and push the limo through the speed breakers. With the combined effort of the crowd and the power of the car, it managed to roll off the speed bump without any damage to the body.

In the video, the person recording it can be heard saying, what is the point of buying such a car when there is no infrastructure? Well, India as an automotive market has a huge appetite for luxury cars. And of course, the big speed breakers, which play with the low ground clearance of the cars. Due to this reason, people have started opting for SUVs as their primary set of wheels.
