The former India captain vowed that he didn’t teach his wife Sakshi any ‘bad words’ in Tamil. MS Dhoni and Sakshi celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last week.

“Periya whistle adinga to CSK. My wife said that she knows bad words in Tamil, but I didn’t teach her any bad words in Tamil because I don’t know any bad words in Tamil. But, I know other languages,” Dhoni said.

Asked about his love affair with Chennai, the CSK skipper said, “My first Test debut is in Chennai. My highest test score is in Chennai and now my first film in Tamil. Chennai is more special for me. When IPL started in 2008, I was adopted here. We produced our first film in Tamil because of our mutual love for the state.

Dhoni, who will lead CSK to a record-equalling fifth IPL title in the 2023 season, said ‘LGM’ will be one of the fastest-produced films. “Trust me, LGM is one of the fastest shot Tamil films and we shot it in record time. I wanted to make everyone happy and I told my team just two things – provide good food to everyone and once you decide something, do it and don’t think twice,” Dhoni said.

The CSK skipper also talked about his friendship with CSK all-rounder Deepak Chahar. “I cannot find words easily for him (Deepak Chahar). It’s like a drug. If he is not there, you will wonder where he is. If he’s around, you’d be wondering why he’s here. But it’s good to see that he is maturing. He will mature at the age of 50 and become as smart as Jeeva is now at the age of 8. Like wine, it takes time. But I won’t be able to drink that wine, by the time it matures, I will be drunk and dusted,” Dhoni said gleefully.
