Virat Kohli along with his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players visited fast bowler Mohammed Siraj’s house in Hyderabad. Star batsman Virat Kohli, skipper Du Plessis and the franchise’s new entrant Kedar Jadhav were present at Siraj’s residence. A video of RCB players reaching Siraj’s house in Hyderabad has now gone viral.

Mohammed Siraj recently narrated a heartwarming anecdote when he bought a new house in Hyderabad and decided to invite his colleagues over for dinner. Siraj, during an episode of Breakfast with Champions, recalled sending an invitation to India’s star batsman.

“I asked Virat Bhaiya if I am hosting a dinner at my house. Will you come?” Siraj revealed that Virat Kohli was nursing an injury at the time.

But much to Siraj’s surprise, the former India captain finally managed to turn around.

“As soon as I opened the door, Virat bhai was there. I ran and hugged her. That was the biggest surprise of my life. Best gift I have received,” revealed the India pacer.

Siraj is the highest wicket-taker for RCB this season so far with 16 victims.

With 12 wins in as many matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently placed fifth in the IPL 2023 standings. In their previous match, Bangalore registered a resounding 112-run win over Rajasthan Royals.

All-rounder Wayne Parnell scalped three wickets in the game to bowl Rajasthan out for a total of 59. The impressive win over Rajasthan helped Bangalore increase their net run rate.

However, RCB’s commendable work can certainly be undone if they fail to win one of their last two games. They will need to win their remaining league games to stay in contention for a place in the IPL 2023 playoffs. Royal Challengers, in their next assignment, will be up against the struggling Hyderabad team. Their last league stage match will be against defending champions Gujarat Titans on May 21.
