Lucknow Super Giants released a heartwarming video of all-rounder Krunal Pandya reuniting with his nephew Agastya. In the video shared by the franchise on Twitter, Agastya is seen going to the airport to receive his ‘KP Papa’. Asked if he is excited to meet Krunal, Pandya Jr. nodded in agreement. The video then cuts to the airport, where Kunal, on his way out of the gate, runs to hug Agastya as they share a cute moment. The 32-year-old was also seen spending some quality time with his nine-month-old son Kavir and nephew Agastya. Kunal was seen participating in several fun-filled activities with the little ones.

Sharing the cute clip, Lucknow Super Giants tweeted, “Simply fabulous.”

Krunal Pandya started his Indian Premier League (IPL) journey in style this time. With 103 runs and six wickets to his name from seven matches, he has already set the stage on fire.

In his last IPL game, Krunal Pandya was up against his brother- Hardik’s Gujarat Titans. It may have been a low-scoring encounter between Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans, but the Pandya brothers mesmerized the fans with their on-field brilliance.

Hardik played a brilliant inning of 66 runs in 50 balls to take Gujarat to a respectable score of 135. The Gujarat captain emerged as his team’s top scorer in the game. On the other hand, Krunal’s performance was no less spectacular. Krunal registered impressive figures of 2/16 after completing his four overs.

Later, he played a crucial knock of 28 runs. Krunal’s remarkable all-round performance, however, went in vain as Lucknow could only manage 128.

Lucknow currently find themselves at the third spot in the IPL 2023 standings. KL Rahul’s men may be in the top half of the table, but they have had a roller coaster ride so far. Meanwhile, Gujarat has been placed second in the standings. After registering five wins in seven matches, the Hardik Pandya-led side have 10 points so far.

In their next game, the defending champions will face Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday. The Pandya brothers will square off for the second time this season in Ahmedabad on May 7.
