Krunal Pandya and Nicholas Pooran – the two “P’s” of Lucknow Super Giants – were caught pulling each other’s legs in a chilled-out pool session. Pandya posted a clip of their hilarious antics on his personal Instagram handle with the caption, “Two p in a pool.”

The clip begins with the two cricketers engaged in a bizarre rivalry near a swimming pool, probably inside their team hotel. Pandya first tried to push Pooran into the water and was successful in his attempt. Then the Caribbean cricketer in a fit of revenge threw off his wet vest and took aim at his IPL partner’s head. It may not have been a headshot, but the vest went down on Pandya’s back. In the end, Pooran proudly shouted from the pool, “That was a good shot, huh?”

The video caught the attention of Rishabh Pant, who broke into tears seeing the Lucknow cricketers’ tantrums. Responding to the post, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman wrote “Hahaha” in the comments section. Shubham Gaur, a close associate of the Lucknow unit, also could not stop laughing. He took the side of Nicholas Pooran, saying, “Never let him know your next move.” It also caught the eye of Pooran’s West Indies teammate Shai Hope, who responded with a few laughing emojis.

That shot came out of nowhere.

The entire Lucknow Supergiants squad is on cloud nine after a thrilling one-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last IPL match. Nicholas Pooran deserves a lot of praise for his memorable chase of a mammoth target of 213. After Lucknow’s top-order collapsed early, Pooran and Marcus Stoinis came out to be the saviors. While Stoinis’ knock of 65 laid the foundation, Pooran smashed 62 off just 19 balls. The Caribbean batsman’s innings included 7 crowd-catchers and 4 fours. In their next IPL assignment, Lucknow will host Punjab Kings on April 15 at their base- Ekana Play City.
