After a wait of one and a half year, the anticipated cop film Sooryavanshi is all set to hit the theaters on Diwali. It will clash with Hollywood giant Eternal and with the release of these two big budget projects amid the Covid scare, expectations are high that the theater business will be given some much-needed boost.
Sooryavanshi has also started promotions with the cast and director. Katrina Kaif shared a funny video of Akshay resting on Rohit’s lap as they wait to attend an event to promote their action film. Katrina also mocks Akshay for waking up at 5 in the morning and asks will he wake up so early. He is bound to get tired during the day. Akshay and Rohit get into the fun and run away before slipping and falling. It also teases the fun that Sooryavanshi has for the audience.
Recently, the song Aila Re Aila from Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgan’s film with Akshay has also been released. It shows the three of them in police uniforms dancing to peppy numbers. The track undergoes chord changes twice during its course to make way for Simmba and Singham’s theme track as Ranveer and Ajay make dramatic entries. The song soon turns into something completely frivolous as it brings together three people from Rohit’s cop universe; Akshay, who plays the lead in Sooryavanshi alongside Ajay and Ranveer, both have extended cameos in the film.
Sooryavanshi has been in trouble for a long time regarding its release. The film which was supposed to release almost two years back is now finally all set to hit the theaters and strengthen our cinema halls by bringing in a huge chunk of the audience.
