On Tuesday, DC were up against table-toppers Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad and were struggling at 130/8 after losing five wickets inside the powerplay.
However, their bowlers reduced GT to 32/4 in 6.4 overs.

One of those dismissals came in an over from Ishant, who dismissed the in-form Vijay Shankar with a knuckle ball to clean bowl him for 6 runs.

DC made a poor start to their IPL campaign as they lost five matches in a row before opening their account with a much-needed win against Kolkata Knight Riders at home. They beat Sunrisers Hyderabad for their second consecutive win before losing to them last week.

The GT strike bowler took four wickets in as many overs to leave DC in deep trouble.
DC were able to repair some damage thanks to a 50-run partnership between Aman Khan and Akshar Patel for the sixth wicket.
Aman scored the first half-century and was dismissed for 51 off 44 balls, while Akshar made 27 off 30 balls.
Ripple Patel also played well and scored 21 runs in 13 balls.
