Rahul Dravid and T Dileep.

On Sunday night, there was a special moment on the field when Dravid looked upbeat and was even seen giving India’s fielding coach T Dileep a pat on the back.

newly appointed India Head coach Rahul Dravid was pleased with the performance of the Men in Blue during the third T20I against New Zealand on Sunday. Batting, bowling to fielding, India were at their best as they thrashed New Zealand by 73 runs in the last T20I. However, on Sunday night, there was a special moment on the field when Dravid looked happy and was even seen giving India fielding coach T Dileep a pat on the back. The incident happened during the 14th over of New Zealand’s batting when Ishan Kishan produced a magical moment on the field to dismiss Kiwi vice-captain Mitchell Santner for a straight hit.

On the first ball of the 14th over, Santner tucks the ball on-side and runs for a single as Kishan charges from mid-wicket to pick up the ball. After completing the first run, Santner ran for the second, but was a yard short when Kishan’s direct hit blew up the stumps.

Now take a look at Dravid’s reaction:
