Another post by the Delhi Traffic Police mentioned, “Taking cognizance of the social media post, the concerned officer seen in the video has been suspended pending inquiry. Delhi Police has a zero tolerance policy towards corruption.” The video was uploaded on July 20, 2023 and the Twitter post is from the same day.

It is not yet clear what happened, but as seen in the video, somewhere in the New Delhi area, the Korean vlogger was asked to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 for crossing the yellow line at a traffic light. The Korean man obeys the policeman and offers to pay Rs.500.

However, the policeman pointed out that the fine is Rs 5,000, not Rs 500. The man tries to make out as much cash as possible, but says he doesn’t have enough cash to give to the police. The policeman takes some money and gives some money back to the Korean man as they shake hands and the policeman thanks him.

The Korean driver left the scene saying that he did not want to argue with the police in India and according to the police he was short of money. So he paid the police 50,000 won, which is 3200 rupees, as against the initially demanded 78,000 won, which is 5,000 rupees.
