Kaatera director Tharun Sudhir recently bought a brand-new BMW X1 car. He bought this lavish car in the presence of his mother, Malathi Sudhir in the showroom. After his mother unveiled the luxurious car to him, Tharun took it to his friend and actor Darshan for him to run it on the road. Tharun Sudhir and Darshan drove it on the road. The duo’s video has been going viral all over the internet. Tharun Sudhir dropped an Instagram reel capturing this moment. He wrote, “Just welcomed a new member home with the blessings of my mother. Had always been a dream and grateful for it to happen. Thanks to all of you for the support.”

It revolved around a blacksmith who manages to fight back against the challenges to help the poor farmers of his village. Apart from Darshan and Aradhana Ram, the film also featured Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, Vinod Kumar Alwa, Danish Akhtar Saifi and Shruti in pivotal roles.
Tharun Sudhir debuted as a director in 2017 with Chowka, which starred Vijay Raghavendra, Prem, and Diganth in crucial roles. It received major acclaim and he was awarded a Filmfare Award (Kannada) in the Best Debutant Director category. Later in 2021, Tharun released Roberrt which also got SIIMA Award for being the best director.
Apart from being a director, Tharun has worked as a scriptwriter for numerous projects, which includes Rambo, Tiger, Roberrt and Adyaksha.
