Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar, who dropped out of Bigg Boss Ultimate, has stirred up a new controversy in her latest interview to a media portal. She opted out of the OTT version of Bigg Boss Tamil citing mental stress. In his latest interview, he hinted that actor Kamal Haasan was unhappy with the show and hence decided to quit as the host. He claimed that Kamal did not leave the show to shoot for Vikram.
Vanitha said that Kamal Haasan is the producer of Vikram and he could have given four or five days to Bigg Boss Ultimate but he left the show. “The trend of the show was going wrong and Kamal sir left probably because he didn’t like it. He is the producer of Vikram and he could have easily adjusted the dates for the show and all the cast and technicians would follow him, but he left. ,
Kamal Haasan has hosted five seasons of the show, and was hosting Bigg Boss Ultimate before the actor’s film schedule started clashing. The show is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. However, Kamal said in his press release that he will return as the host of Bigg Boss 6.
Vanitha also opted out of the show citing her mental health concerns.
Last week, actor Simbu took over as the host of the reality show and will continue for the next four weeks. He will host till the finale of the show.
