Warner Bros. scolded when Robert Pattinson stole socks from Batman set

Robert Pattinson makes his debut as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the latest retelling of the iconic character from DC Comics. Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, is in theaters now. The film also stars Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle or Catwoman. In a recent interview, Pattinson revealed that he was scolded for stealing socks on the sets of the film. Although actors are usually not allowed to take items from sets without permission, some of them often steal items that have some kind of sentimental value to them.

Pattinson recently told BBC Radio 1 in an interview that he managed to swipe items off the set of The Batman, but was scolded for doing so. “It’s impossible to take any of this home, I got too many socks. All my socks are from ‘Batman’,” he said.

Pattinson shared with the Warner Bros production house that he used to tell them it was okay to have a few pairs but that he couldn’t have them every day. He asked the actor how many socks he needed from the sets of Batman.

Reeves has already said that he is in discussion with Warner Bros. about a sequel to The Batman. So, he said it’s unlikely Pattinson will find anything more important than socks to take home, especially his prized Batman suit, for the time being.

Pattinson recalled that while he wore a full Batman costume, the crew around him on set acted differently around him. Pattinson shared, “It has this kind of totem power.” The crew seemed a little scared. “It’s really weird. If you don’t say anything and you’re just standing there, people get nervous about it,” he added.

Moviegoers, especially DC fans, are loving every frame of the film, and can’t get tired of praising the star cast as well as the entire crew of The Batman.
