Kamal Nath and the Congress party created a ruckus in the MP Assembly regarding the OBC reservation. He demanded that the Shivraj government should stand with 27% reservation for OBCs and present its views in full in the court. On this Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Congress is doing drama and his government has done nothing.
The former Kamal Nath government of Madhya Pradesh had proposed 27 percent reservation for OBCs. Nine days after the petition was filed in the court, the court stayed the case.
