Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will soon be seen in War 2
Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan will soon be seen sharing the screen space together for War 2.
The buzz about War 2 is getting stronger with each passing day. Siddharth Anand’s highly anticipated film with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will be going on floors soon. Buzz is that, the makers will begin filming from February 2024. Hrithik will begin shooting from February, and Jr NTR will begin shoot from March-April.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source close to the production house shared, that JR NTR is currently shooting for Devara with Janhvi Kapoor, post which he will move on to work in Fighter. “Jr NTR is giving all his time to Devara and is set to conclude the shoot by the third week of January 2024. The majority of the filming has already been completed in the coastal regions of Goa. Known for staying true to his professional commitments, the Young Tiger is scheduled to seamlessly transition to his next major undertaking.”
The source added, “He will kickstart the shoot for War 2 in March-April 2024, following the completion of Devara. Hrithik Roshan will be starting the shoot in February. Jr NTR has also committed dates to shoot director Prashant Neel’s next, tentatively titled NTR 31.”
War 2 marks the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes previous films like Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2022), and the upcoming Tiger 3 (2023). This film will continue the storyline from Tiger 3 and eventually lead to the highly anticipated showdown between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the film Tiger v/s Pathaan. War, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was released in 2019 and became the highest-grossing film of the year in India, earning over Rs 300 crore and achieving blockbuster status at the box office.
In War 2, Jr NTR will be essaying the role of an antagonist, while Hrithik Roshan will be reprising his character – Kabir.
