Director Prashanth Neel, who is known worldwide for his KGF films, recently revealed about the third part of the franchise which has left fans excited. Talking to YouTube channel Galata Plus, the director said, “KGF Chapter 3 is possible. Cinema is the driving force behind the success of KGF2. People have accepted the world of KGF.
“Many people have fallen in love with these cinematic characters. Thus, we want the story to continue. but when? We don’t know, but we’ll keep going.”
Neil also added that the third part has been under consideration for a long time but the team is now focusing on taking a big break after the blockbuster success of KGF Chapter 2.
Last month, KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur confirmed the project in an interview. He added that the third part of the franchise will start in October this year and is expected to hit the theaters in 2024.
Talking about KGF Chapter 2, the film broke many records at the worldwide box office. Directed by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, the film is a sequel to the 2018 film KGF: Chapter 1.
Bhuvan Gowda has handled the cinematography while Ravi Basrur has composed the soundtrack for the film.

Apart from Yash, the film stars Srinidhi Shetty in the female lead with the lead actor. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, Achyut Kumar, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Rao Ramesh and Ishwari Rao in pivotal roles.
