Vadodara: A woman waghodia The police have registered a case of murder of his 14-month-old girl on the taluka. Kalpana RathwaHowever, the one who is suspected of killing his daughter has gone underground.
her husband jaswant Rathwa had approached the police a few days back after his wife along with their child Preeti went missing.
Jaswant told the police that on February 1 the girl had fallen ill and hence wanted to withdraw some money from the ATM for her treatment. But when his debit card was not working, he went to his relative’s place to borrow his debit card. But, when that too did not work, Jaswant returned home with his wife and daughter in Waghodia. After some time, Kalpana Suddenly without informing anyone, he left the house with his girl.
Jaswant, who works in a private firm, reached the bus depot to look for his wife and saw her sitting in a private transport vehicle.
She told him that she was going to a hospital in Bodeli for the treatment of her girl. After a few hours, Jaswant’s father also got a call from Kalpana who said that he was in Bodeli. But when she did not return till the next morning, Jaswant started looking for her.
Police found the girl’s body from a canal in Waghodia’s Sandal village on February 4, but they could not find Kalpana. On Saturday, the police have registered a case of murder of the girl against Kalpana.
