Vodafone Idea files review petition in SC challenging its decision on AGR dues
Telecom giant, Vodafone Idea on Tuesday filed its review petition before the Supreme Court challenging the July 23 verdict, in which the apex court sought adjustment of its adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues for ‘arithmetic errors’. The petition was dismissed.
The Supreme Court, in its judgment headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao, had on July 23 dismissed the petitions filed by Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel and several other telcos and their petitions seeking adjustment of the AGR demand. .
Now Vodafone Idea had approached the Supreme Court challenging the 23 July decision and again sought amendment in its decision.
