Vivo V23 5G gets BIS certification, may launch in India soon – Times of India

Vivo may soon expand its V series in India with the launch of I Live V23 5G, The handset has reportedly appeared on India’s BIS certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. The smartphone will replace the Vivo V21 and is expected to be a mid-range phone.

It is paired with 8GB of RAM and offers 44MP camera.
Vivo V23 Series: What to Expect
Not much is known about the Vivo V23 phone. But as the name suggests, the Vivo V23 will be a 5G capable phone. It is tipped to offer an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The handset is expected to come with a better processor and could also come with major improvements in the camera department.
On the other hand, Vivo V23 Pro was recently spotted on Geekbench. As per the listing, the model number of the smartphone is V2123 and it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200SoC. As per the listing, the chip scored 679 in single-core and 2,707 in multi-core test.
The smartphone also packs 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 operating system. It is expected to come with a 120Hz OLED display and come with 33W fast charging. Apart from this, the Vivo V23 Pro is said to come with a 64MP primary rear camera with 8MP and 2MP sensors.
The company has not yet announced the launch date of the upcoming devices. But it is rumored that Vivo may hold an event on January 4 to unveil the smartphone.
