Vivek Agnihotri, who is riding high on the success of his last film, ‘The Kashmir Files’ recently took a jibe at filmmakers Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar.

In an interview with a news portal, Vivek spoke about Ayan’s upcoming film, ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The director stated that the makers don’t even know the meaning of that and they are talking about Astra Verse. According to Agnihotri, Ayan can’t even pronounce ‘Brahmastra’.

However, he also added that Ayan is a wonderful director and that he ‘Wake Up Sid!’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. He is concerned about him like a mother is concerned about their children, Vivek told Kushal Mehra.

The director also spoke about how people like Karan Johar talk about LGBTQ activism but they themselves make fun of it in their films.

‘Brahmastra’ is a three-part fantasy epic which also features actors like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and others in key roles. The film even boasts of a cameo by none other than Shah Rukh Khan. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.

Vivek, on the other hand, has announced his next titled, ‘Delhi Files’.
