Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli termed those who targeted pacer Mohammed Shami on social media over religion as a “group of people with backbones” after the T20 World Cup loss against Pakistan in the first match. Shami was the target of critics after the ten-wicket loss to Pakistan, although Kohli said after the match that Pakistan had done better than the Indian team.

People target people by hiding their identity, they do not have the courage to come in front of people and they fall behind someone, it is very sad to do this through social media.

They have neither the ability nor the courage to do what we do and how they cannot even think of doing it.
