Viral: Bengaluru Couple Quits 30-Lakh Package Job To Sell Samosa; Now Earns Rs 12 Lakh Per Day

New Delhi: The popular North Indian snack samosa can make anyone super rich. Don’t believe the words? The Indian couple is earning Rs 12 lakh per day by selling samosas through their venture ‘Samosa Singh’ in Bengaluru. The duo started the venture 7 years back in 2015 after quitting their high paying jobs. As per reports, now the turnover of the venture is around Rs 45 crore per month.

The couple selling samosas are Nidhi Singh and her husband Shikhar Vir Singh and have been married for five years. They first met while pursuing B-Tech in Biotechnology in Haryana. It changed his life once and for all. Nidhi joined corporate life with Rs 17,000 and later grabbed Rs 30 lakh as a Business Development Associate in a pharma company in Gurugram.

While her husband Shikhar Vir Singh aspired to become a scientist as he later did his MTech from the Institute of Life Sciences in Hyderabad. Eventually, both of them quit their respective jobs in 2015 and started the venture.

The couple wanted to start something of their own to start a business. Shikhar pitches the idea of ​​selling samosas, which is first turned down by Nidhi. However, he was convinced when he saw a child crying for samosas in a food court.
