New Delhi: The next tenth installment of the “Fast & Furious” saga will take a bit of detour before reaching its final destination as it now hits theaters in May 2023.
The long tenth chapter for speedy cars, anti-physics stunts and family will hit theaters on May 19, 2023, reports Variety.com.
It’s a little more than a month away from its previously scheduled debut of April 7, 2023, and sees the “Fast & Furious” sequel firmly leading into the blockbuster season of the summer.
Universal Pictures is taking advantage of the space left by Dome Toretto & Company and will slot an unnamed animated film in that berth. This moves forward from the previously announced March 24, 2023 slot.
There are no details on that yet whether it’s from the studios of ‘Shrek’ and it promises to be a phenomenon.

The most recent “Fast & Furious” movie, “F9,” opened in theaters last summer. It grossed $726 million globally, an impressive figure that was lower than the other films in the series, mainly because Covid decimated ticket sales.
Director Justin Lin returns behind the camera for the ninth film in the series as well as the previous several installments.
The tenth entry will bring back Vin Diesel, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and other long-standing members of the ‘Fast’ family.
