The two were booked on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting their neighbor Suryakant Girodkar over a trivial issue of erecting a wooden fence on the way.
Kolam Police Inspector Prajyot S Fadte said the accused are absconding and have approached the South Goa District and Sessions Court in Margao for anticipatory bail.
According to the complaint lodged by Girodkar’s wife Radhika, a minor scuffle took place when the accused were putting up a wooden pole around their property, and had also covered the road leading to Girodkar’s property.
Radhika said that her husband had requested the accused to leave his way open, but instead the accused attacked her with a weapon.
