The film is unstoppable in the south as it is now the highest grossing film in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Recently, Vikram has crossed the 400-core mark worldwide. Haasan starrer is the highest grossing Tamil film in Singapore, UK, UAE and other countries. Reportedly, Vikram will soon breach Rs 300 crore domestically.

Haasan’s first release in four years has emerged as one of the most successful Tamil films of all time. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram was released on 3 June in cinemas across the world in multiple languages. The film has impressed everyone. Meanwhile, Disney Plus Hotstar on Wednesday released a promo in which Kamal Haasan announced the digital premiere of Vikram. The film will hit the OTT platform on July 8. Vikram, a high-octane action entertainer written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is the ‘spiritual heir’ of the 1986 film of the same name. In the film, Haasan plays Arun Kumar, an agent working for India’s external intelligence agency RAW. He is cruel at times and shows no mercy to the criminals. Suriya has a cameo in the film. He appeared as the drug syndicate head Rolex.
Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi plays an antagonist in the film and Fazil is also in a lead role in the film. The film also stars Santhana Bharati, Gayatri, Kalidas Jayaram and Vasanti in supporting roles.
