Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who is currently being praised for her role in Amit Masurkar’s ‘Lion’, admitted that the “coronavirus pandemic put a lot of pressure and stress on our healthcare workers”. The brand, through its #TouchOfCare campaign, recently launched a heartwarming film on Late Dnyaneshwar Bhosle’s inspiring journey of selfless care. Bhosale left no stone unturned to ensure that many less fortunate children get life-saving medical aid during the pandemic. A doctor who lost his life to Covid-19, Bhosale left behind his wife, children and his dreams of building his own pediatric hospital.

The film pays tribute to Bhosale and hundreds of doctors like him who lost their lives during the pandemic and provided their ‘touch of care’ to many souls in need.

Vidya said she wants to bring to light the invisible force behind the doctors themselves: their families.

Vidya shared: “I salute Bhosale’s wife and family for supporting their selfless work! They showed us how a simple act of caring can transform the lives of those who need it.
