Post their dream wedding, newly wed couple Mouni Roy and Sooraj Nambiar hosted a pool brunch and sangeet night to celebrate their happiness with their friends and family. The two first carried on their relationship according to the South Indian tradition and later in the day on January 27, following the Bengali tradition, tied the knot. Now the glimpses of their rocking concert are out and they are a treat to watch. The night was filled with demonstrations, pictures, laughter, food and Bollywood songs. For her scintillating sangeet night, the ‘Naagin’ actress wore a heavy golden lehenga with emerald jewellery, while Sooraj was seen in black.
Mouni and Sooraj stunned the dance floor with their scintillating performances on hit Bollywood songs with their friends. Several celebrity guests including Mandira Bedi, composer duo Meet Brothers- Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh, Arjun Bijlani, Zia Mustafa and others attended the festivities and danced their hearts out.
Several pictures and videos of Mouni and Sooraj’s cake cutting ceremony also went viral, where the newlyweds were seen stealing a kiss while cutting a 3-tier cake.
Meanwhile, Mouni Roy tied the knot with boyfriend Sooraj Nambiar on January 27 in Goa. They performed an intimate wedding ceremony in Goa in the presence of close friends and family. The wedding ceremony took place at the Hilton Goa Resort in Candolim. Mouni turned heads with her beautiful traditional Indian wedding dress and exquisite gold jewellery. Announcing the wedding, Mouni Roy shared some lovely pictures with her husband. Along with the pictures, the actress wrote, “I finally found him..hand in hand, blessings of family and friends, we are married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings… 27.01.22 Pyaar, Suraj and Mouni.”
On the professional front, Mouni will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. Mouni will play the role of an antagonist. Suraj, on the other hand, is a businessman and investment banker based in Dubai.
