SP MLA RK Verma inspected the Government Engineering College under construction in Pratapgarh on Thursday. During this, when he touched the wall built 2 days ago, it fell down. The MLA alleged that substandard materials were used in the construction. He said that the government is not making arrangements for the future of the youth, but for their death.
Government Engineering College is being built in Shivsat village of Belkharnath block area of the district for two years. This college is being built by Amarnatosh Construction Company of Noida for 2 years. The local people had complained to the SP MLA regarding its construction.
The MLA inspected the under-construction college campus. During this, the strength of the bricks installed in the walls being built was checked.
The wall was built only 2 days ago
During the inspection, when the MLA touched the wall built two days ago, it collapsed. Due to this, the MLA strongly reprimanded the workers and the employees of the organization. Along with this, immediately complaining about this matter and demanding to start the investigation.
MLA RK Verma pushed the wall in front of the junior engineer. She fell down. After this the junior engineer took the samples and sent them for examination.

On the complaint of the MLA, the Junior Engineer of the Rural Engineering Department came to investigate it. In front of the MLA, the junior engineer took samples of bricks, cement and sand being used in the construction. The MLA also created a ruckus over the irregularities in the construction work.
The MLA demonstrated over the use of perishable goods. Slogans were raised against the government with supporters.
