Their natural charm and skills are undeniable but trolls always find a way to target celebrities. A recent video, which compares Rashmika with another South actress Sai Pallavi, who predominantly works in Tamil films, is doing the rounds. A reel posted on Instagram by a fan page of Sai Pallavi on December 20 has gone viral and it is a direct comparison between the two actresses.
The video begins with Rashmika filming in cold weather conditions. She is clearly cold as three men with an overcoat on her body shield her from the chilly weather and as the camera pans in, she acts as if she is unfazed by the weather. As soon as she finishes giving her shot, her assistants rush to cover her again.
The second part of the video shows Sai Pallavi shooting a film in the snow-clad mountains with a saree on. She is not wearing any winter wear and looks undeterred by the weather in front of the camera and outside. The reel went viral on Instagram with over 38 lakh views and over 1.18 lakh likes.
This sparked a debate on whether Rashmika was just overacting in the video, being too cold. Sai Pallavi’s fans targeted Rashmika for her reaction while shooting in the cold weather.
Rashmika will next be seen in Warisu opposite Thalapathy Vijay and Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. She will also return as Sreevalli in Pushpa: The Rule opposite Allu Arjun.
