Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are all set to tie the knot today at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan. Wedding preparations were underway inside the splendid property, with security personnel and police officers stationed outside the fort’s entrance with barricades.
About eight security personnel in black uniforms and two police officers were seen guarding what appears to be the main entrance to the wedding venue.
Vicky and Katrina, affectionately called Vikat by fans, celebrated mehendi and sangeet ceremony with their friends and family on December 7 and 8.
Several reports suggest that Katrina’s mehndi was done by popular Bollywood mehndi artist Veena Nagda, who had earlier done bridal mehndi for many celebrities including Deepika Padukone.
Several celebrity guests have arrived in Jaipur to join the wedding festivities. These include Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya, filmmaker Kabir Khan, Baar Baar Dekho director Nitya Mehra, Bunty Aur Babli 2 actor Sharvari and veteran Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan.
Popular singers Hardy Sandhu, Aastha Gill and Toshi Sabri were spotted at the Jaipur airport on Wednesday. He might have performed in Vikat’s Punjabi style music last night.
According to reports, it is believed that the couple will get married in two ceremonies, respecting both their traditions. The Punjabi style wedding of this couple will begin around noon today. Vicky and Katrina will take rounds between 3.30 pm to 3.45 pm.
At the request of the couple, the 700-year-old Six Senses Hotel Fort located in Sawai Madhopur district has been decorated with a heritage look as the couple wanted something more natural than artificial decorations.
