Topher Grace is featured as Venom in the original Spider-Man trilogy

With Spider-Man No Way Home arriving in theaters later this year, fan excitement and anticipation for the film’s plot continues to rise. Several theories about the film have been doing the rounds especially since the release of the trailer of the Marvel film last month.
However, the ongoing speculation about the Spider-Man No Way Home story took a funny turn when actor Topher Grace answered a fan’s question. Grace played Venom in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, which came out in 2007. Seeing as how Doctor Octopus made an appearance in the latest trailer for the upcoming superhero film, it was natural for fans to expect that another antagonist Tom Holland-starrer would also see the first Spider-Man series.
Grace did a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Monday via her IamTopherGrace account to promote her show Home Economics. However, the actor was beset by questions about Spider-Man No Way Home and that’s when he decided to settle the matter forever. Responding to a fan’s question whether she’s in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, Grace responded with a statement filled with sarcasm and wit.
The 43-year-old actor wrote, “Please keep it between us but yes, I am in it. The plot begins with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) freaking out that everyone knows his identity and then Dr. . Something goes crazy with Strange and Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina) comes into his dimension.” The actor further mentioned some other villains. Spider-Man comics and wrote, “Then Electro and the Green Goblin pop out of one of those ‘energy circles’ and they’re like ‘It’s Spider Stompin’ Time. Then Tom Hardy and I hang out and stare at each other. Fight and I win (obvi), it’s not even a fight like I kick him right away.” Grace certainly created a new cross-over where DC Comics superheroes joined in as he exaggerated the plot of Spider-Man and answered the question, “Not too much to give, but the original 70’s Spiderman show.” , Aquaman and Batman (Affleck, not Keaton) are also some of the crossover actors, and thanks to Disney Han’s Ghost of Solo from Rise of Skywalker, and that Eve robot from Wall-E. Again, please be among us.”
Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for a December release later this year.
