Varun and Lavanya starred together for the first time in ‘Mr.
Varun Tej is the son of Telugu actor and producer Nagendra Babu and nephew of actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.
Actor Nagendra Babu recently announced that his son Varun Tej’s wedding will take place this year and he himself will introduce the bride to the media. His recent statement has sent Tollywood as well as the media into a tizzy, wondering if Varun will make his rumored relationship with Lavanya official.
Rumors have been rife that Varun Tej and actress Lavanya Tripathi are dating since a long time. However, both have always denied this. Since, Varun hasn’t spoken to the media about the same, fans are speculating whether it is Lavanya or someone else with whom he is going to tie the knot.
Back in 2022, in an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Lavanya rubbished all the rumors of their marriage and said that all this is coming only because she acted with him in two films (Mr, Antriksham). “I’m single because I haven’t found the right answer.” The actress also said that her being in a live-in relationship is the weirdest rumor ever.
It is being told that their family is planning to get them married this year and Varun Tej’s father, actor and producer Naga Babu has revealed this in one of his recent interviews.
Addressing the media at an event, Naga Babu reportedly said that he would give all details about his son’s marriage, but refrained from revealing details about the bride. He added that he would “officially announce it” once both families were finished.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Tej is juggling between various films. He was last seen in ‘Ghani’ and ‘F3: Fun and Frustration’ released last year, is now gearing up for 2023 with ‘Gandivadhari Arjun’. Lavanya was last seen in Happy Birthday. She has not announced her upcoming projects yet.
Talking about Varun, he is the son of Telugu actor and producer Nagendra Babu and nephew of actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. He is the cousin of Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Sai Tej and Panja Vaishnav Tej. If marriage happens then it will be no less than a grand starred affair.
