Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Monday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)BJP) will win more seats than expected in the exit polls.
Most of the exit polls have shown that the BJP, which is seeking a second consecutive term in the state, is headed for a majority.

ANI quoted Dhami as saying, “All exit polls are showing that BJP will form the government with a majority. Some are showing 45 seats, some 47 seats but I believe there will be more seats when the final results are out.”
He said that the people of Uttarakhand have shown “confidence in us” and this government will be formed.
Meanwhile, the BJP handed over the responsibility to party workers and election candidates for the counting of votes in the state to be held on March 10.

Voting was held on February 14 for 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand.
The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
