ACIC is the latest world-class research facility to find location in SGT University Gurugram, Haryana. India (NewsVoir) Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Member of Parliament from Ayodhya, Mr. Lallu Singh on Wednesday unveiled the Atal Community Innovation Center at the Sri Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University. The pioneers of SGT University have taken the responsibility of creating the next generation of leaders with a vision and mission to bridge the existing skills gap and develop world-class industry professionals. Taking forward this tradition, SGT University organized a series of lectures on National education Policy 2020 (NEP).
Atal Community Innovation Centre, run by NITI Aayog, is a project of the Atal Innovation Mission, Government of India, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. The mission’s goals include setting up world-class incubation centers and nurturing and supporting innovative technology-based start-ups. SGT University has established several centers of excellence, which help in achieving academic excellence and carrying out cutting edge research work. In addition, SGT University has also established laboratories, incubation cells and industry-academia associations.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Shri R.C. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami; Special guest Mr. Lallu Singh, MP Ayodhya; Trustee Mr. Manmohan Singh Chawla, SGT University; Chairperson Smt. Madhupreet Kaur Chawla, SGT University. Professor OP Kalra, Vice-Chancellor of SGT University expressed gratitude to both the honored guests by presenting the book ‘Constitution: An Untold Story’ authored by Padma Shri Shri. Ram Bahadur Rai, Chancellor – SGT University. Inaugurating the ACIC, Shri. Pushkar Singh Dhami appreciated the students, staff, faculty and senior management of the university.
