Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2022: First list of candidates released, Chief Minister Dhami will contest from Khatima

BJP has released the first list of candidates for the elections to the fifth assembly of Uttarakhand. In this list, the names of candidates have been finalized on 59 seats. After re-churning the remaining seats, the second list of the next candidates can be released.

State election in-charge Prahlad Joshi announced the names of candidates for 59 seats in a press conference on Thursday. On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will contest from Khatima seat. The names of the remaining 11 seats will be announced later. This time five women have been given tickets this time. At the same time 13 Brahmin leaders have been given tickets.
