Gonda: A woman and her teenage daughter were killed while three others were injured when a pickup truck went uncontrolled and entered a roadside house in Chhapia area. Gonda district, police said on Thursday.
Police said the incident took place in Babhanjotia village on Wednesday night, in which Poonam Devi (48) and her daughter Khushi (14) died.
The mother-daughter duo was traveling as passengers in a pickup truck.
The three injured, including the driver of the vehicle, were taken to the hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
