LUCKNOW: With three casualties in the last 24 hours, UP recorded the lowest number of Covid-19 deaths since the first week of March. However, the total number of Covid-19 deaths reached 22,591.
The daily cases remained below 200 with only 165 entries on Wednesday, while 292 were cured. Lucknow (13), Prayagraj (10), except Meerut
(10) and Ghaziabad, no other district Double digit entry. Zero cases were reported in 22 districts. The new cases took the total to 17,06,107. Out of the total cases, 16,80,720 have been cured, which speaks for a recovery rate of over 98.5%.
UP has only 2,796 active cases, of which over 1,800 are in home isolation.
Among the districts, Lucknow is home to maximum 251 active cases.
