Kanpur: A couple living in Atta area Jalaun He has sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi via social media, seeking financial assistance from the central government for the treatment of his three-year-old daughter suffering from developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), a condition where ‘ball and socket’ infants And in young children the hip joint is not formed properly. It gets cured with timely operation.
As her financial condition is not good, she has requested the Prime Minister to arrange financial help so that her daughter can remove this deformity.
The girl’s mother Kshama and father Kapil Porwal said that the doctors of AIIMS had informed them that the girl’s surgery was already late. It should be done as soon as possible. Now the date of operation has been postponed twice due to COVID-19 and his poor financial background.
He said that he wants the PM to listen to him and help him.
Samridhi’s parents shared the details of her illness in an emotional post to the PM on social media. He has told the PM that his daughter will turn three on June 29. He further said that he is a resident of Atta village of Jalaun.
He said, “Our daughter, who is suffering from Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH), is undergoing treatment under Dr Shah Alam, Department of Orthopedics at AIIMS, Delhi since last one and a half years. AIIMS doctors have given the date of surgery twice. But due to the Corona period, the date got canceled both times. Although she is growing physically, she has a difference in the length of one leg due to DDH. Because of which she walks on one leg. Due to imbalance, she could not stand or walk properly.”
Ravindra Chaudhary, posted as the manager of the District Early Intervention Center in the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office of Jalaun, said, “This disease is considered to be a congenital problem. This is sometimes called hip dysplasia or congenital hip dislocation. If the surgery is done on time, it is curable.”
However, no one came to him to ask for help for the child.
