GHAZIABAD: A person was arrested for killing his widowed sister-in-law with a hammer on suspicion of getting an affair, police stated on Monday.
The 25-year-old girl recognized as Twinkle is survived by three children.
Circle Officer, Loni, Rajneesh Upadhyay stated that Twinkle was married to Gaurav, a local of Khanpur village of Jaani police station space of Meerut district, in 2017. Her husband died in a truck accident in 2021.
After seeing his sister-in-law speaking on the cellphone ceaselessly, accused Abhishek began doubting her character. On Sunday night time he reached her room on the primary flooring and indiscriminately hit her head with a hammer and slit her physique at a number of factors, police stated.
Abhishek has been arrested and a hammer was recovered from the home.
Twinkle’s physique has been despatched for autopsy, police added.
