Housing and Construction Minister MK Yizhak Goldkopf and Deputy Minister Yaakov Tesler of the United Torah Judaism party canceled their participation in Remembrance Day celebrations in Kiryat Gat and Beer Tuvia on Sunday.
The president of the Yad Labnim movement, Eli Ben Shem, told Army Radio that he “greatly appreciated” her decision.
Education Minister Haim Bitton, a member of the ruling party, also announced that he would cancel his participation in Remembrance Day celebrations in Rehovot.
