The press release stated that the US Federal Aviation Administration and the North American Aerospace Defense Command had imposed a temporary flight restriction in the airspace over Lake Michigan. The ban was imposed on February 12 at 12 PM (local time). Its purpose was to ensure the safety of air traffic in the region during North American Aerospace Defense Command operations.

Explain that according to a notice by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the airspace over Lake Michigan was temporarily restricted for national defense reasons on Sunday. ‘ being banned for reasons.
