The official poster of the upcoming film JNU: Jahangir National University has been recently released. It features a hand-holding saffron alongside a map of India, with the text posing the question, “Can one educational university break the nation?”

Urvashi Rautela dropped the poster on social media. She captioned the post, “Behind closed walls of EDUCATION, brews a conspiracy to break the nation, as the left and right collide, who will win this battle for domination?”

Written and directed by Vinay Sharma, the film features a star-studded cast including Urvashi Rautela, Siddharth Bodke, Piyush Mishra, Rashami Desai, Sonnalli Seygall, Ravi Kishan, and Vijay Raaz, among others.

The movie JNU: Jahangir National University refers to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), which has been in the spotlight for controversies. Trade analysts like Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahta also shared the film’s poster on social media platform X.

Sharing the poster, Taran Adarsh revealed that the film is scheduled for release on April 5. The poster highlighted the theme of a conspiracy brewing within the educational institution to undermine the nation.

The film is produced by Pratima Datta and is presented by Mahakaal Movies.

Soon after the film was announced, netizens shared their mixed opinions and reactions. Some have labelled it as ‘propaganda,’ while others have already stated the film to be a ‘blockbuster.’

Many users questioned the timing of the film’s release just before the Lok Sabha elections. One comment stated, “Propaganda movies are suddenly surfacing right before the elections. There was nothing for so long, and now, just before the elections, everything is coming out.”
