Urfi Javed says he was cheated by the producer, he was made to do candid scenes

Big Boss OTT Fame aka Javed is making headlines these days for her fashion choices. The actress has been in the industry for some time now and has seen many ups and downs. From being unemployed for a long time to having suicidal thoughts, Urfi spoke about his difficulties in a recent conversation with ETimes. She opened her heart about the difficulties and struggles she faced in her life. Hailing from a conservative family, Urfi was always asked to dress and act in a particular way, but the actress wanted to taste freedom. So she ran away from her house. Urfi has been a part of many popular shows after coming to Mumbai, but luck was not on her side. Sometimes, he was replaced overnight, or the project closed after 3-4 months. The actress has also faced rejection many times. Urfi also recalled how he was once duped by a producer, who forced him to do candid scenes for a web series. When the actress refused, the producer threatened to send her to jail and also demanded a hefty amount as compensation.

Recalling the horrific incident, Urfi shared that after the first day of shooting when he was forced to do obscene scenes, he had suicidal thoughts. The actress had refused to go on the shoot the next day after which the producer threatened her and demanded Rs. 40 lakhs.

Talking about his life, Urfi said that it has largely remained the same but some things have changed a bit in the last 2 years. The actress shared that she has become more confident. She also credits Bigg Boss OTT for boosting her confidence as she is not influenced by negative comments and trolls. Urfi said, “Bigg Boss OTT gave me a lot of eyes but I don’t think anything has changed for me industry wise.” The actress believed that a lot of people got to know about her, but, she added, “They know Urfi Javed as a guy who wears weird clothes and let’s troll him for it. We do.”

When asked about her early days in the industry, Urfi recalled that she once shared rooms with six girls when she was living in a PG. The actress revealed that she started her career with Rs. 3000 per day. “I have struggled a lot in my career. I am still struggling,” she said.
